At WeRecycle! LLC we believe that our business success depends upon balancing economic, social, and environmental objectives. We recognize that it is in the best interest of our company to be actively involved in the environmental and social issues of recycling.

We also recognize that our business minimizes environmental impact - the ability to reuse and recycle materials produces significant reductions in waste disposal.

Every aspect of our business has environmental impacts and we consider it our duty to mitigate them to the best of our abilities. WeRecycle! LLC. has established the following objectives to achieve the highest standards for environmental performance.

Comply with the Law

  • Conduct business with integrity and dedicated observance of environmental laws and regulations
  • Strive for leadership through programs that surpass compliance

Prevent Waste and Pollution

  • Operate WeRecycle! facilities to maximize material reuse materials and minimize harmful environmental impacts
  • Set expectations of environmental excellence throughout WeRecycle!, LLC’s supply chain and account for all Hazardous E-Waste throughout the recycling chain to final disposition
  • Prevent export of Hazardous E-Waste throughout the recycling chain to non-OECD countries
  • Assure that any export of hazardous electronic waste to an OECD country is in compliance with national laws and regulations pertaining to exporting, importing and transiting that waste stream

Protect the Health and Safety of our Employees and Community

  • Maintain an Occupational Health and Safety Management System to ensure that WeRecycle! facilities are operated in such a manner that protects the health and safety of our employees
  • Provide comprehensive training and health services for all WeRecycle! employees
  • Prohibit the use of minor workers or prison labor
  • Provide fair wages, hours, and benefits to all employees
  • Ensure full transparency and the communication of company policies, procedures, and information related to human health and the environment to all employees

Continually Improve Our Performance

  • Use an Environmental Management System approach to establish goals, implement programs, monitor technology, evaluate progress, and continually improve environmental performance
  • Foster a culture of environmental responsibility among all employees of the organization

Demonstrate Responsibility to Stakeholders

  • Be an environmentally responsible member of the communities in which we live and work
  • Use our position in this industry to promote good environmental practice
  • Communicate our progress to stakeholders
  • Educate customers about data security issues and WeRecycle!’s data destruction practices
  • Ensure that employees have the awareness, skills and knowledge to carry out this policy and promote a culture in which all employees share this commitment
