Insurance & Permits

WeRecycle! assumes responsibility for the management of all accepted materials in WeRecycle! control following pick-up by a WeRecycle! truck or delivery to a WeRecycle! secure facility, including data security for all items processed by WeRecycle!. Customers seeking expedited data destruction or documentation of data destruction may take advantage of these WeRecycle! services and should contact a customer service representative.

To further protect our customers, WeRecycle! holds $5 million in pollution liability insurance, as well as general liability, automotive, and workers’ compensation coverage. WeRecycle! has comprehensive closure plans for each facility, holds all necessary permits for each facility, and conducts full due diligence on all of its downstream processors. Facility Operations & Security

Our facility operations and security controls include:

  • Documented facility operations & maintenance plan.
  • Shipping & receiving with 5 active loading docks.
  • Equipment sorting and inventory.
  • Evaluation, refurbishment, and repair.
  • High security digital and physical data destruction (in accordance with DOD 5220.22-M specifications) with restricted access.
  • Equipment tear down and component separation.
  • Pre-employment screening (drug/criminal background checks). Employee badges and uniforms.
  • Gated facilities with multiple clearance levels.
  • Concrete/cinderblock structure with fenced windows.
  • 24-hour monitoring system with motion detection.
  • Limited access high security area.
